Firm Recovers $1.25 Million in Motorcycle Accident Case

Silverman Thompson has recovered a policy maximum of $1.25 Million for a 54 year old New York woman who was critically injured while a passenger on a motorcycle on a Pennsylvania highway. The collision was caused when the driver of the motorcycle attempted to pass an SUV in a no-pass-zone, the SUV turned left and the motorcycle struck the side of the SUV. The plaintiff was thrown from the motorcycle and suffered a T6-T7 spinal injury with complete spinal cord injury, multiple ribs fractures, bilateral femur fractures, a sacral fracture, and a right tibial plateau fracture. The driver of the motorcycle died at the scene. The recovery will be used to supplement the woman’s medical and other care needs. Silverman Thompson partner Andrew G.
