Ms. Strachan attended college at the University of the South, where she was the recipient of the Robert Lancaster Academic Scholarship. She graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. After graduation, she was awarded a Tonya Internship Grant which enabled her to work for the American Society of International Law. She graduated from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2000.

Ms. Strachan’s practice focuses on civil litigation with an emphasis on commercial & residential real estate, as well as construction and home improvement law.
Ms. Strachan is a seasoned litigator who has handled an average of fifty contested cases per year before Judges on both the Circuit and District Court levels all over the state of Maryland. Her client base runs the gamut from the small property owner to major commercial and residential property management companies. She has extensive experience in dealing with cases that involve Housing & Urban Development, as well as project and voucher based state run housing assistance programs.
