Judge Approves $190 Million Settlement Between Hopkins and Silverman Thompson Clients and Class

A Baltimore Circuit Court Judge approved a record $190m settlement between class members and Johns Hopkins Medicine. The case arose from the illicit conduct of Dr. Nikita Levy, a gynecologist and obstetrician with John Hopkins Community Health Systems. Levy, who committed suicide after he was exposed, is believed to have secretly recorded and amassed over a thousand videos and photographs of his former patients. Silverman Thompson served on the Plaintiff's Steering Committee and represented a large number of the plaintiffs.
