Ryan Kaufman is a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Group, representing businesses, individuals, governments, and other organizations in a wide range of complex civil matters. He also works in the firm’s Sports & Entertainment Law Group on a variety of matters, including the development and negotiation of major sponsorship and endorsement contracts. Finally, Ryan works in the firm’s Internet & Privacy Practice Group where he represents private businesses and individuals in the handling of privacy disputes with websites and other online content providers.
Mr. Kaufman attended college at the University of Michigan, where he graduated with High Distinction in 2007. He attended the University of Baltimore School of Law after spending a year as a paralegal in the D.C. office of White & Case, LLP. During law school he was a staff member on the University of Baltimore Law Review and President of the Entertainment, Arts, & Sports Law Society. He also spent time interning with Octagon, Inc. and the Baltimore Orioles. In 2011 he graduated from the University of Baltimore Magna Cum Laude and is a member of the Heuisler Honor Society (Top 10%). Upon graduation from law school, Ryan worked as an associate with the Firm before taking a position in federal acquisitions and procurement with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. After three years of federal service, Ryan returned to private practice with Silverman|Thompson|Slutkin|White.
