Focus

Abby Ticse is an Associate in the Firm’s Business Litigation Group where she focuses on complex civil litigation matters. Ms. Ticse also works in the Firm’s Crime Victim’s Rights Group, litigating cases on behalf of crime victims. Additionally, Ms. Ticse assists with the Criminal Trial Division.

Professional History

Ms. Ticse completed her undergraduate education at Salisbury University, where she majored in graduated with honors in 2013. Ms. Ticse then attended the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law where she served on the University of Maryland Law Review and graduated with honors. While at the University of Maryland Ms. Ticse was a student attorney in the Consumer Protection Clinic where she regularly appeared before judges in the District Court of Maryland for Baltimore City to represent individuals in debt-collection matters.


Ms. Ticse’s professional experience throughout law school covered a wide range of civil and criminal matters. Her experience extends to both plaintiff and defense work, in both private practice and government entities. During law school Ms. Ticse interned for the Honorable Marcus Z. Shar of the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. After graduating law school and prior to joining Silverman, Thompson, Slutkin & White as an Associate, Ms. Ticse was a Law Clerk for the Honorable Michael A. DiPietro of the Circuit Court for Baltimore City.
