Silverman Thompson Chosen by Attorney General and Governor Hogan to Represent State in Opioid Litigation

After a competitive RFP process, the Governor has announced that our firm was selected to represent the State of Maryland to investigate and potentially pursue litigation against opioid manufacturers. The firm is charged with assisting the Attorney General in Maryland-specific investigations of opioid manufacturers and distributors for potential violations of state laws governing the marketing, sale and distribution of prescription opioids. Silverman Thompson is partnered with the national law firms of Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd of San Diego and Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein of San Francisco.
